Our storyThe South Recreational Swim League was founded in 1987. Originally we started with 10 teams and have grown to 25 and counting. In the early 2000’s, the league made the decision to expand enrolled to allow all swimmers to participate in the league. At the time we had over 1,500 swimmers and swim only 1 season a year. In 2005, the decision was made to have South Florida Swim League swim all year round, which they continue to do today.

Our Purpose |
To provide a comfortable swimming atmosphere for children who do not wish to swim on a USS competitive team; one that will be enjoyable as well as beneficial to the participant. Besides being an end in itself, the league will teach, develop, and train young swimmers to be competitive by improving their strokes and their own times.
